KUNSTWERK BILDER is a gay art shop from Germany. We showcase gay men, gay love, gay bodies – as art that belongs on walls. Gay Fine Art, LGBTQ+ Pride, Queer Art: for us, these are not euphemisms; they are our mission. And we don't hide them when entering new markets.
We come with conviction.
In Europe, we fought for gay visibility – in art, in public spaces, online. We bring this passion, this conviction to the USA. Gay is pride, not provocation. Gay is a human right. Queer is not obscene. LGBTQ+ Pride is not a fringe issue – it is identity, dignity, history.
We will not bow to censorship.
We call things by their name. Gay Art is Gay Art. Gay Fine Art is Gay Fine Art. Gay Sex is Gay Sex. We do not adapt to algorithms, platforms, or political winds. What we show in Germany, we will show in the USA.
In 1978, Coca-Cola launched a gay love campaign that was far ahead of its time – and then buried it. We haven't forgotten.

Some US states have enacted laws that specifically restrict, discriminate against, or marginalize LGBTQ+ people – or use religious fanaticism as a free pass for exclusion. We have blocked our shop for Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. This is not a technical limitation – it is a conscious decision. We sanction homophobia. Period.
