Welcome to a store like no other – a store entirely dedicated to gay art. Not gay art as a niche, but as a heartfelt cause. Founded by a man who, in 1982 in Germany, published one of the first books on homosexual life – "Schwulenbuch – Lieben, kämpfen, leben" (The Gay Book – To Love, To Fight, To Live) – and who has since never ceased to make homosexual visibility his mission.

Our store is a greeting to all gay men in Spain, not just the gay community in Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville, but across the entire country; we are many and we are everywhere. Spain has a rich art history – from Velázquez to Goya, from Dalí to Picasso. But homosexual love in art? It was excluded from museums, pushed away from public spaces. KUNSTWERK BILDER brings it back.
