Welcome to the page of a unique shop – a shop entirely dedicated to gay art. Not gay art as a niche, but as a passion. Founded by a man who published one of the first books on gay life in Germany in 1982 – “Schwulenbuch – Lieben, kämpfen, leben” (The Gay Book – Loving, fighting, living) – and who has never ceased to make gay visibility his mission.

This shop is a salute to all gay men in France, not just the community in Paris, Lyon, and Marseille, but across the entire country; we are many, and we are everywhere. We are with you for visibility and identity. That's why we deliver all our products – wall art, mugs with gay motifs, and interior decoration – directly to your home at attractive prices.

France has an incomparable history of art – from Courbet to Delacroix, from Toulouse-Lautrec to Gustave Moreau. But gay love in art? It was excluded from museums, pushed out of public spaces. KUNSTWERK BILDER brings it back.

We think of the great masters who shaped the history of European art and culture. Claude Monet painted light. Renoir painted tenderness. Van Gogh painted longing. Chagall painted love. But gay men? They never appeared on any canvas. Not because they didn't exist – but because the world wouldn't allow it.
