Welcome to a shop like no other – a shop exclusively dedicated to gay art. Not gay art as a niche, but as a matter of the heart. Founded by a man who, in 1982 in Germany, published one of the first books on homosexual life – "Schwulenbuch – Lieben, kämpfen, leben" (The Book on Homosexuality – To Love, To Fight, To Live) – and who has since never ceased to make gay visibility his mission.

Our shop is a greeting to all gay men in Belgium, not only to the gay community in Brussels, Antwerp, and Ghent, but throughout the country; we are many, and we are everywhere. We stand with you for visibility and identity. That's why we deliver all products – wall art, mugs with gay motifs, and home decor – directly to your home at great prices.

Belgium has a rich art history – from Rubens to Magritte, from Ensor to Delvaux. But gay love in art? It was banished from museums, pushed out of public life. KUNSTWERK BILDER brings it back.

We remember the great masters who shaped Europe's art and cultural history. Claude Monet painted light. Renoir painted tenderness. Van Gogh painted longing. Chagall painted love. But gay men? They didn't appear on any canvas. Not because they weren't there – but because the world wouldn't allow it.
