We are pleased to announce a new series: There will always be just one motif: two twinks enjoying themselves in the shower. Painted in the style of very different artists. An exciting concept that invites comparison of the images, their styles, and language. From romantic to hard, from tender to painful.
Images from the perspective of different artists who inspired us and whose style we have captured show direct, intimate, and at the same time respectful depictions of gay tenderness. The works are open in their language, consistent in their artistic stance, and invite you to rethink desire, closeness, and visual language.
The idea behind the series
Our new series brings together images that do not hide the topic of sexuality, but do not treat it voyeuristically either. Each piece in the series offers its own perspective — sometimes raw, sometimes lyrical, always with a clear focus on consent and dignity. The aim is to create spaces in which gay bodies, desire, and intimacy are taken seriously as part of contemporary art.
A first look: Shower Love #1 - Sorolla
The opening work of the series is "Shower Love #1 - Sorolla". It explores an intimate scene in the shower and speaks openly about physical encounters. This work is exemplary of our series' approach: direct, artistically grounded, and always with an eye on the people depicted in the image.
Why we are bringing this series as one of the leading shops for gay art
As a shop with a clear focus on gay art, we see it as our responsibility not only to sell products, but also to support artistic positions. For us, every work is backed by an idea and a conviction. Our focus is not purely commercial: we want to spark discussion, create visibility, and promote aesthetic quality.
Who is the series for?
- Collectors interested in contemporary perspectives on gay intimacy.
- Art lovers who appreciate direct, honest depictions that remain respectful at the same time.
